The laughter is coming to Port Crane when Homebrewed Comedy hits the stage at New Leaf Cider on Sunday, Aug. 25. Jay Yoder is headlining the show and Mike Stewart is joining host Mike Peters.

The show starts at 7 p.m. and seating begins at 6:30. Tickets are $10 and available online and at the bar. They'll be $15 at the door the day of the show. Seating is limited, so it's best to buy your tickets early.

About the comedians:
Mike Peters, a Binghamton comedian, specializes in self-deprecating, observational humor. A contributor for Funny or Die, Peters is the founder of Homebrewed Comedy. He hosts at the Syracuse Funny Bone and Wise Crackers in Wilkes-Barre, Pa., won the Utica Brews Laugh Contest and Uptown Roast Battle and opened for Super Troopers’ Rabbit, Erik Stolhanske and Gilbert Gottfried. Peters produces shows all over New York and hosts his weekly podcasts, On the Mic with Mike Peters and It’s About Time: A Sopranos Watch Podcast.

Mike Stewart is an Ithaca comedian, who performs all over the upstate area. A father of four kids, Stewart has plenty of real-world material to bring to the stage. He works regularly with Comedy On the Commons and performed at the Finger Lakes Comedy Festival.

Jay Yoder is an accomplished comedian, podcaster and content creator. He’s performed for thousands of people as he’s brought his comedic stylings to the Bored Teachers Comedy Tour. He’s also a regular at Soul Joel’s Comedy Club and was a semifinalist for Magooby’s Comic of the Year in 2023 as well as the winner of Explore DE’s March Laughness Tournament in 2022. He’s performed at the Vermont Comedy Festival, the Portland Comedy Festival and the Good Karma Comedy Festival. He’s the co-host of the Teachers Off Duty Podcast: Season 4, which reached No. 4 on Apple Podcasts, and he hosts a fatherhood podcast called “Seriously, Dad?
