Homebrewed Comedy Standup Show

This will be our FIFTH stand up comedy show! It is a ticketed event. Tickets are $10 and can be purchased at the tasting room or online HERE. These shows sell out so don’t wait!

The laughter is coming to Port Crane when Homebrewed Comedy hits the stage at New Leaf Cider on Thursday, Jan. 25. Andy McDermott is headlining the show and Cody Montanye is joining host Mike Peters.

The show starts at 7 p.m. and seating begins at 6:30. Tickets are $10 and available online and at the bar. They'll be $15 at the door the day of the show. Seating is limited, so it's best to buy your tickets early.

About the comedians:
Mike Peters, a Binghamton comedian, specializes in self-deprecating, observational humor. A contributor for Funny or Die, Peters is the founder of Homebrewed Comedy. He hosts at the Syracuse Funny Bone and Wise Crackers in Wilkes-Barre, Pa., won the Utica Brews Laugh Contest and Uptown Roast Battle and opened for Super Troopers’ Rabbit, Erik Stolhanske and Gilbert Gottfried. Peters produces shows all over New York and hosts his weekly podcasts, On the Mic with Mike Peters and It’s About Time: A Sopranos Watch Podcast.

Cody Montanye is an Albany comedian who’s been doing stand-up since 2016. He performs all throughout the northeast at Comix Mohegan Sun in Connecticut, Proctors Theater in New York and the Paramount Theater in Vermont. Montanye regularly features at the Comedy Works in Saratoga Springs. He’s featured for Ryan Hamilton at the Albany Funny Bone and Kurt Metzger at Comedy Works, Soul Joel’s Comedy Club in Pennsylvania and FPX theatre in Maryland.

Andy McDermott is a dynamic performer, storyteller and joke writer. He’s performed at the Woodstock Comedy Festival, O+ Festival and on WPDH’s Boris and Robin Show. Eddie Brill described him as “... So smart, so funny. I think the world of him as a comic.” His hit stand-up and variety shows produced by his production company, More Than Jokes, have been in venues throughout the Northeast. McDermott has been featured at comedy clubs all over New York, including Laugh It Up!, Rhino Comedy, Levity Live, the Funny Bone, Yonkers Comedy Club, the Comedy Works and Stand Up NY. He’s opened for Kyle Kinane, Big Jay Oakerson, Eddie Brill, Paul Virzi, Kevin Farley and more.
